SENBATZURU - 1000 GRU DORATE PER UN SOGNO

(SENBATZURU - 1000 GOLDEN CRANES FOR A DREAM)

Installation

Mixed Technique: 3 canvases composed and painted in Oil + origami

Year: 2018

Description: Composed of 3 oil painted canvases and origami in gilded and brilliant origami paper, embellished with golden glitter in acrylic glue and composed entirely by hand (excluding the creation of the canvases)

Creative idea: In Japan there is a belief... if you embroider/create 1000 gold cranes, your wish comes true (see "Sadako wants to live")

What it is for me: Senbatzuru represents my golden scar and my deepest desire (see "Kintsugi - the golden scars" charity event created by Vanilla Images).

Per aspera ad astra

My other works

I like to experiment from terracotta processing.... to engraving, from creating birth paintings for grandchildren..... to strange gift packages....

Everything that gives me joy and gives joy..... it is experimentable.

Have you ever tried to make a sand sculpture?

In one of what I call "PREVIOUS LIVES" following a course of window dressing I created for the final exam a "Venus of sand"

For my Luca, a Tolkien enthusiast, I engraved the wood of our fireplace in Quenia (elven language) thanks to the help of a language teacher who translated the phrase "My home is where my heart is".

I tried to paint the ceramics and also to work it.....

I painted furniture, canvases, wood and "Pancini".... From all these experiments and many others the peculiarities of my paintings are born.
